How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weekends, weddings and dates during busy seasonal periods. However, we are always happy to consider short-notice bookings where availability allows. Please contact us to check whether your preferred date is available.

Can I arrange a viewing before booking?

Yes. We would be delighted to show you around the venue and discuss your plans before you make a decision. Viewings are available by appointment and can be booked through our Book a Viewing page.

Is a deposit required to secure my booking? When is the final balance due?

Yes. A deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking and secure your chosen date. Your date will not be fully reserved until the deposit has been received and written confirmation has been provided.

The remaining balance is normally due 28 before your event. Full payment may be required at the time of booking for events arranged at short notice. Your payment schedule will be clearly outlined in your booking agreement.

What is your cancellation or postponement policy?

We understand that plans can sometimes change. Any cancellation or postponement must be provided to us in writing as soon as possible.

The amount refundable will depend on the notice given, any costs already incurred and whether we are able to rebook the date. Where possible, we will work with you to move your booking to another available date. Full cancellation and postponement terms will be provided before your booking is confirmed.

Is there a stage or space for entertainment?

Yes, the venue has a dedicated stage/a flexible area suitable for DJs, live performers, speakers and other entertainment. All entertainment arrangements must be agreed with us in advance and remain subject to the venue’s capacity, licensing, safety and noise requirements.

Do you provide catering? And can we bring our own?

We offer in-house catering and a selection of catering packages, including options suitable for different event styles and guest numbers.

External catering is [permitted/not normally permitted/considered with prior approval]. Any external caterer must be agreed in advance and may be required to provide appropriate food hygiene, registration, insurance and allergen information.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

Our venue can accommodate up to 200 guests, depending on the type of event, chosen room layout and whether seating, dining, dancing or entertainment space is required. Our team can recommend the most suitable setup based on your expected guest numbers.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.

Can dietary requirements and allergies be accommodated?

We will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Please provide full details of any allergies or dietary needs by the deadline stated in your booking agreement.

Are tables and chairs included?

Yes, standard tables and chairs are included with all venue hire bookings/selected packages. We can arrange them to suit your event and chosen layout. Specialist furniture, upgraded seating, linen and additional décor may be available at an extra cost.

Is parking available nearby?

Free, on-site parking is available at the venue.

Further information about parking, public transport and drop-off arrangements can be provided before your event.

Is there a licensed bar?

Yes, the venue has a licensed bar offering a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Bar opening hours and alcohol service are subject to the venue’s premises licence and applicable licensing conditions.

Guests may not bring their own alcohol unless this has been expressly agreed in writing in advance. Proof of age may be requested, and alcohol will only be served in accordance with licensing requirements
